Rita Brañas
Argentina, casada, tres hijos, Artista Plástica (Dibujante y Pintora) domiciliada en la localidad de Monte Grande, Provincia de Buenos Aires.


Coordinó el Centro Cultural Municipal de Exposiciones "El Telégrafo", perteneciente a la Municipalidad de Esteban Echeverría, hasta Diciembre del 2007.


El 02 de Febrero del 2008, escritores, pintores, historiadores y público en general realizaron un homenaje a Rita Brañas, por su buena gestión como coordinadora del centro cultural El telégrafo, de la Municipalidad de Esteban Echeverría.




 


















Desde 1996 dirige su propio taller. Ex docente de la Escuela de Artes y oficios de la Municipalidad de Esteban Echeverría, tarea que desarrolló en los barrios más carenciados del partido.





PINTURAS
Cursó estudios con el profesor Alberto Taylor, realizó cursos en la Asociación Amigo de Bellas Artes con la Lic. Mabel Mayol y el profesor Juan Astika.
Expone sus obras por primera vez en el año 1976 en el Centro Cultural San Martín de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, posteriormente en el salón Auditórium de la ciudad de Mar del Plata en Bahía Blanca y en diversos salones nacionales e internacionales.


- La legislatura de la ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires declara de Interés Cultural de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires la reedición del libro "Versos Sencillos" de José Martí, con ilustraciones de la artista plástica Rita Brañas (Declaración N° 231/2002).
- El Instituto Cultural de la Provincia de Buenos Aires declara de Interés Cultural el libro "Versos Sencillos" del escritor cubano José Martí, con ilustraciones de la artista plástica Rita Brañas. (Declaración N°106 /2004).
- El Sr. Intendente de la Municipalidad de Esteban Echeverría Cdor. Alberto Groppi declara de Interés Cultural Municipal para el Partido de Esteban Echeverría la reedición del libro "Versos Sencillos" de José Martí, con ilustraciones de la artista plástica Rita Brañas. (Declaración N° 110 /2005).


La bolsa de comercio de Buenos Aires edita un CD con la ilustración de una de sus obras.
Integra el diccionario de las Artes Plásticas Argentina 2002.


Una de sus obras "Capilla de Villa Nogués", fue elegida para ser incorporada al patrimonio cultural de la Nación (1992) en el Museo de la Casa Rosada. (Patrimonio N° 136718).
En ese mismo año la Embajada Argentina en Indonesia, a través de su repre sentante, Embajador Morelli, adquirió la obra "Allá en el Sur" para ornamento de la cede diplomática.


-En octubre de 1995 en una de sus obras (Capilla Jujeña) pasó a formar parte del patrimonio cultural del honorable Senado de la Nación.
-Sus obras han sido adquiridas por coleccionistas privados de Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, Estados Unidos, República Dominicana, Japón, China y Francia.
-El Presidente de la Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores de la cámara de esteúltimo país, Sr. Michel Vauzelle, posee "Por siempre Gardel", obsequio de la Cámara de Diputados de la Argentina.


Por su parte, Laurent Fabius, en su carácter de Presidente de la asamblea de Francia, recibe la obra titulada "Barrio de Tango".

El Embajador de Corea, Sr. Key-Sung Cho, integró a la colección de Arte de la Embajada la obra titulada "Marginación".


El Gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires Sr. Felipe Sola posee la obra"Iglesia de Monte Grande. Obsequiada por el Intendente Cdor. Alberto Groppi.


PINTURAS MURALES
- Embajada de Palestina en Buenos Aires, pinta un mural a pedido del Sr. Embajador Suhail Hani Daher Akel.
- Convento Museo San Carlos de San Lorenzo, Prov. Santa Fé pinta dos murales uno de San Francisco de Asís y otro de Santa Clara de Asís.
- Virgen Desatanudos, Parroquia Inmaculada Concepción de Monte Grande, Prov. Buenos Aires.
- También en propiedades privadas.


TARACEA
La TARACEA es una técnica milenaria, anterior al nacimiento de Cristo, que utiliza láminas de madera.
Bellamente trabajada por los egipcios, pasa a casi todo Oriente para recalar en Europa donde existen piezas excepcionales. Hoy se dictan clases de esta técnica en el Museo del Prado de Madrid y escuelas de bellas artes de España e Italia.


Como autora de taraceas realiza su primera exposición en el año 1989.
